From our family to yours -
Our life long love and passion for animals had us looking to add a feline to our family. We were looking for a breed of cat that could 'keep up' with our busy family, and boy did we find one! Adding a Bengal to our household has been amazing. Their personalities were able to offer us everything we had been looking for. Being a family of 4, we all had our own wants and wishes. Our 5 year old wanted a cat that would play with her for hours on end, my husband wanted a cat that acted more like a dog, our 6 month old wanted (well, I wanted) a cat that had a great temperament, and I wanted a cat that had all of those qualities in one package. That is when we found Bengals.
After months of research we welcomed Prince and Mercedes into our home. It didn't take long before I realized this was the most amazing breed of cat I had ever encountered. Having a background in horse breeding and management, I decided I wanted to contribute to the Bengal breed and become a TICA registered cattery and breed the very best Bengals possible.
Words of advice when looking to add a Bengal to your family -
When searching for your new Bengal I cannot stress enough to do as much research about the breed and the breeder as possible. Bengals are not for everyone which is why we interview every potential buyer as thoroughly as possible.
We want happy cats and happy humans!! There is nothing worse than brining home a beautiful new kitten to only find out that your brand new baby has a life threatening illness.Three major things to look for and ask when selecting your Bengal:
1) Does the breeder offer a health guarantee or return policy?
2) Have the parents been screened for HCM, PK deficiency and PRA-b tested?
3) How/where was the kitten raised?
